For the past five years or so I’ve been using Final Cut Studio to edit all my movies on both mac and pc. There are a lot of good features about this program but i am very picky when it comes to things like color correction, transitions etc i want everything to be perfect before i crack open the files. So that’s why everytime I get around to doing some movie editing after coming across another editor that is just more suited for what I need (ie) Final Cut Pro X (which lacks drag n drop which Final Cut Studio has). Anyway while searching through YouTube there were several comparisons between FCPX and Avid Media Composer 6 (that’s what Apple uses). A lot of reviewers said they liked how easy it was use FCPX but gave their vote for Avid because it blew them away with great features like multicam support HD 422 even better than 1080p super long clips multiple audio tracks variable speed motion tracking real time effects which can be put into motion templates scrolling titles variable resolutions you name it pretty much anything you want super different from anything Apple offers now!
